The NIS2 Directive is a European Union regulation aimed at strengthening cybersecurity across member states. It replaces the original NIS Directive and expands its scope to cover more sectors and entities considered critical to society and the economy. NIS2 sets stricter requirements for risk management, incident reporting, and cooperation between national authorities, with the goal of achieving a high common level of cybersecurity throughout the EU.

Now, an expert group compared the requirements of NIS2 against the implementations after a successful implementation of TISAX® and came to the revealing conclusion.
